At Carlton Dental our friendly, approachable and experienced team is committed to understanding your needs, meeting your expectations and alleviating any concerns you may have. We are able to advise you individually on the best approach to good dental health and hygiene. We’ll also discuss with you the options available for any treatment you may require.

We are proud of the attention that we are able to offer our patients. Our top priority is taking time to ensure that we can give all of our patients the best and most appropriate routes for ongoing dental care.

First time visitors to the practice will be given the opportunity to discuss their dental needs and we will explain your current dental status so that you can make informed decisions about your teeth and gums.

Patrick has been working as a dentist for 20 years.  He has trained and worked in Ireland, England and the U.S.A. during that time.  He loves treating patients and seeing new faces.   Practicing minimally invasive dentistry, his main drive is to preserve, prevent and restore so that patients can have good functioning teeth and happy smiles for life.  He is a very gentle dentist who provides treatment with an emphasis on holistic care.   He has worked the last 10 years in a private dental practice near Manchester and has relocated to the south coast to be nearer family.  He trained for 6 years in The Queen’s University of Belfast where he attained the Foundation Scholarship for excellence in undergraduate study and he continually attends many courses around the country including at Manchester University and King’s College London.  He has a special interest in endodontics, minimally invasive cosmetic dentistry and aligner tooth straightening. 

In his spare time he enjoys playing the trumpet and piano in various bands. And he can’t think of anything better than going for a walk along the coast with his partner and daughter at the weekends.

Fehrad has Graduated from University of dental medicine of Plovdiv worked as a general dentist in his country. In 2018 he moved to UK and since then he has been practicing as a general dentist. Fehrad has undertaken many post graduate course in different fields of dentistry : Endodontics, Prosthodontics and Aesthetic dentistry.

Dr. Vardev graduated from the Faculty of Dental Medicine in Plovdiv in 2009 and opened his first private practice the same year. He is a member of the Bulgarian Dental Association and the General Dental Council (GDC). He continually attends courses and lectures in orthodontics, implantology, and aesthetic dental medicine, with a particular focus on aesthetic restorations. In 2011, Dr. Vardev specialized in Implantology at Professor Bauer’s clinic in Bad Nauheim, Germany, and holds a Certificate in Implantology from Vincent J. Morgan, D.M.D. Since 2014, he has focused on orthodontics and is certified in Modern Clear Orthodontics and the Alexander System. He also works with Healthy Start functional orthodontic appliances by Ortho-Tain. In 2016, Dr. Vardev added hyaluronic fillers and Botox to his practice, specializing in facial aesthetics under Professor Turkevich. He is married with two kids a dog and a cat.

I qualified as a dental hygienist in 1980 from The Dental Institute In Edinburgh. Over the years I have been very fortunate to have worked in a variety of areas in dentistry ie people with disabilities, children, the forces in Saudia Arabia and private general dental practice where I am at the moment. We as hygienists are constantly being challenged with the continuing changes in dentistry and at the moment dental implant care is very high on the list. 

Out of work I am very active in my large garden and pride myself with the the constant food I grow for my family. I love sewing, knitting and reading when I have time.

Nicola Worden has been working as a dental nurse at Carlton Dental Practice for 31 years.

Nicola completed her Dental Nursing course and is a GDC registered dental professional.

Nicola’s aim is to provide excellent chairside support, placing interest patients first. Nicola updates her professional development regularly with dental nursing courses. As an experienced dental professional Nicola also performs lead nurse’s duties. Outside of work Nicola has  busy family life.

Gill has been receptionist at Carlton Dental Practice since 1989, prior to this she had a pub and later a restaurant in Sherbourne Dorset. She has always enjoyed chatting and meeting people, many of whom have become good  friends over the years. Now Gill works part time as she has a busy family life and enjoys sports, gardening and sunny holidays whenever she can.
